Incredibly sad to hear the news about Tom. I worked on study skills books at Sage so was involved in three new editions of Tom and Sandra’s book Essential Study Skills. Tom’s passion for supporting students in their learning development, and deep knowledge of the subject was so clear. I vividly remember him helping create videos to bring their advice to life, and especially his sense of fun and inclusive approach to all students. What an amazing impact he’s made on so many people’s learning journey. Sending deepest condolences to Sandra.
