One of the pleasures of joining London Met was knowing there were so many excllent and dedicated people here - just like Tom who I had admired from afar over the years through his scholarship and blogs. Meeting him was like meeting an admired singer or actor and in real life he was as passionate and charismatic as I imagined he would be. Tom has clearly had a huge impact here and across the sector with Sandra and in doing so you both have ensured great learning experiences for our students. In the end that kind of impact is one of the best we can hope for.
